NSB stands for Never Seen Before.
We only use this name when a shifter is either a genuine world-first or has been completely re-engineered to a level the market has never seen.
Every NSB shifter follows three non-negotiable rules:
1. Zero or almost-zero interior modifications.
We 3D-scan the car’s interior, design the base plate or frame, and relocate every component so you don’t have to butcher the interior.
Example: our previous Coolerworx shifter for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution required heavy cutting of the factory center-console plastics. The new NSB version requires zero cutting — it is 100% bolt-on and fully reversible.
2. The perfect shift feel for that exact car.
Short throw is easy. Getting the right feel is what matters. We test dozens of handle ratios and heights on the actual car until the shifter feels like it could have been made by the factory — only better. Some cars work best with ultra-short throws, others need a slightly longer throw for that perfect mechanical “click”. We don’t compromise.
3. 100% made in-house, from zero.
Every part is designed, machined, finished, and assembled in our workshop in Lithuania. No off-the-shelf parts, no shortcuts, no middlemen. No cheap matte surfaces. That’s why every Coolerworx NSB shifter guarantees the best quality and fitment.
NSB is not the cheapest short shifter you can buy. It’s the one that finally does it right — for cars nobody else touched, or nobody else managed to do it properly.
